Electronically Controlled Chuck

As an undergraduate researcher in the Programmable Matter Laboratory, I designed, fabricated, integrated, and tested an electronically controlled chuck to clamp onto metal wire in a 3-axsis wire bender. This function was necessary to improve bend angle accuracy and reduce wire back-out during bending.
