Cold Gas Rocket Staging

As a recovery team member, I designed, manufactured, tested, and integrated a CO2 separation system for pressurizing the parachute bay of Pocket Rocket, our team’s test vehicle. This allows for the vehicle to shear its nylon nose cone retaining screws and deploy the parachute for vehicle recovery.

This rocket staging hardware flew on Pocket Rocket, getting our team to its first high powered rocketry flight in five years.
